Images and Designs Guidelines

Introduction

To ensure the best possible results for your framed posters and prints we ask that you follow the guidelines below when uploading your images and designs. We may have to contact you if uploaded files are not optimal for printing and this can cause delays of cancellations of the order. Any questions or concerns can be directed to our contact email or through our custom order form. Please note we hold the right to cancel any orders that do not meet the guidelines if it is deemed that the quality of the print will be compromised. Also any image or designs that otherwise violate our Terms of Use will also be subject to cancellation.

File Types

We accept images and design files in: PDF, JPG, PNG or TIFF formats. The maximum file size is 96MB. If you have a file that is larger and you need assistance with uploading please contact us.

Resolution and Printable Area

To ensure the best viewing quality of the prints we suggest a minimum resolution of 100dpi. Our image preview menu when uploading will be able to say which frame sizes this will apply to for your image.

The printable area of each poster will depend on the chosen size, our image preview menu will prompt you if the image is not the correct sizes for the frames, this might mean cropping of the uploaded image:

  • A1: - 594mm x 841mm
  • B1: - 707mm x 1000mm
  • A2: - 420mm x 594mm
  • A3: - 297mm x 420mm
  • A4: - 210mm x 297mm

Colour Mode

Our printers use the CMYK colour mode. For best results we suggest that images are within the CMYK colour space, or the RGB colour space for best results. If you need help with converting your image to CMYK or RGB please contact us.
